Protect affordability and access to our health care in Pennsylvania
For 2027, big insurance corporations have requested average rate increases over 17% for Pennie (Pennsylvania's health insurance marketplace), with some requests as high as 40%.
This is on top of the 21% increase last year, which has already led to 200,000 families losing health care in Pennsylvania this year.
The projected increases, together with the loss of federal subsidies, will lead to 400,000 more families losing health care in January.

Health Care for All in Pennsylvania
The Pennsylvania Universal Healthcare Act is a universal, publicly funded healthcare plan that would provide comprehensive, high-quality coverage to every Pennsylvanian, without deductibles, co-insurance, co-pays, or caps, along the lines of “Medicare for All”. The lead sponsor of the legislation is PA Representative Greg Scott (HD 54).
Please contact your State Representative and State Senator and ask them if they will co-sponsor the PUHA Bill https://www.pahouse.com/scott/Form/?id=1915. This is the memo requesting co-sponsors: https://www.palegis.us/house/co-sponsorship/memo?memoID=47916
The plan would maintain and add to today's healthcare provider network, bringing savings to patients, employees, and providers by reducing administrative costs, resulting in direct savings for the vast majority of Pennsylvanians.
